The artist's eye

My photography is a mixture of symmetry, details, colors, light, shapes, perspectives and angles that call me when I look through my lens, I resonate with the beauty and uniqueness of the universe, trapped in that one magical moment "

Photographer Jaime Barbiery .-

The photographer speaks for the interview the same way as natural and peaceful and from that knowledge, I state the reason for their work and their work considered only from the perspective of a traveler in search endless and cyclical.

Jaime Barbiery is a photographer from San Francisco, which decides on their own to take pictures that reflect every detail of his travels and looking at every angle light a light for the soul of the observer.

• Since when do photography, how did the fans?

My father was always taking pictures of our family grow. There were many times he asks me to take pictures with him in them. I would like to ask everyone accordingly. Once printed, he mentions that seemed to include everyone in the photo and how well everyone was placed in the photo. My father bought me my first camera when he was about 13 years old, because he told me seems to enjoy photography.

• Your training as a photographer?
I have never been educated in the technical part of art photography. My photography has always been a "feel" when I look through the lens

Exhibitions in which you participated?
I have participated in various mixed media art exhibitions exhibitions in San Francisco, California in recent years. In Mexico, I created several of my own exhibitions inviting other mixed media artists to participate with me. I am also a member of the Art Society of Ajijic. (ASA) participated with them in the art exhibitions members. We also sell monthly Ajijic's Square during the winter season. Recently, I participated in the exhibition Art Art Erotik Ajijic.


• Do Awards received by your photographic work?
2nd Place Winner for a black and white photo "Life in Chapala 2009-2010" at the Quattro Gallery in Ajijic.

• What type of photography is your favorite?
The type of photography I like are those with good composition and speaks to my soul and visual stimuli.

• What are you trying to express your artistic photography?
Art is subjective and I want people to connect with my photograph on any level that I feel and perceive images.

• How do you choose your subjects?
It is a condition called "attention deficit disorder." I think they have this disorder because all my attention, I want to capture it! Basically, however, question of symmetry, color, texture, and subject lighting my attention.

• What kind of preparation you do before shooting?
Depending on the issue, perspective is important to me for what I want, up, down, go left or right, up and down until the feeling of what I'm trying to catch comes to the lens. • Do you consider yourself more technical or artist?

• How to present your photographic work?
The frames with different colors of Maria Luisa and sides of boxes with different colors.

• When digital film and when?
I prefer digital as I can delete and manipulate images for 10 years. It did not develop my own photos, very few came to the quality I expected.
